ENERGY PROFILE FOR NOVEMBER: F E A R

How appropriate to discuss the energy
of Fear since we just celebrated Halloween. It's fun to wear a
costume, observe the mind-boggling creativity of others and join in the
excitement of children as they venture out into the night vapors.
As
adults, we differentiate between the Halloween scary noises and outfits
and know it isn't real, it's imaginary. Yet when the faceless spirit of
Fear knocks on the door of our mind and heart, why do we let it in
without questioning its intent and validity? We open the door to our
inner sanctuary without a password or proper identification. And when
Fear enters, like a forest becoming still in anticipation of danger, we
stop breathing. New thoughts stop circulating and we are left with only
our fear thoughts.
Why
does Fear have such control over us when it lives in the future shadows
of tomorrow, forewarning of events that haven't happened yet? Why do
we listen to its nagging whispers and give it control over our
thoughts, emotions and eventually our decisions and actions?
If
Fear has become a household energy in your home, there are things you
can do to transform it into an energy that will serve you instead of
immobilizing you.
- First thing to do is to regain breathing
again, perhaps deep breathing at first to re-oxygenate yourself. When
we stop breathing our ability to think and process information is
diminished, creating panic, anxiety and confusion. Usually we are not
aware that we moved into shallow breathing.
- Increase your level of 'trust'
in life and in yourself. As trust goes up, fear naturally goes down. So
when fear appears knocking at your door it is a sign that in this area
of your life, where the fear is lurking, your level of trust is low.
- Re-establish your connection with your 'control'.
Fear wants us to believe that we do not have any control over the
situation or circumstances but we always have control over our
thoughts, emotions, attitudes and perceptions. This is the only control
we have but it is BIG! Our thoughts create our reality.
- Re-focus on what you want to happen. Fear keeps us focused on what we don't want. Remember that energy flows where attention goes!
- Believe in yourself. Fear is a seductive energy, seducing us while wrapping its fingers around our throat. It wants us to believe that we are powerless and that Fear has the answers. Do not fall for this seduction.
- Say 'STOP' out loud. Say it with force and conviction. You are saying stop to the energy of Fear.
- Like an archaeologist, uncover the source
of your Fear. Is it coming from an old belief or an old hurt? Once you
figure this out, spend time healing this area and creating new beliefs
that serve you.
If you have not been feeling fearful and all of a sudden, like a swarm of wasps, it attacks you, you have more than likely stepped into a pocket of free-floating fear. Take a deep breath and release it, sending it to the Light so others do not step into it.
Fear is an energy. It has no physical form until you give it life with your imagination and life force. It can only live off of you so avoid feeding your fears. Instead feed the energies of gratitude, joy, peace of mind, and confidence.
The energy Schematic above shows the subconscious mind how to move through and with the energy of Fear. Instead of resisting it, like an opponent charging you, step aside, using the opponents energy to flip it (Fear) into an energy that serves you more (security, peace, gratitude, etc.). We are not taught how to move with our Fear so it doesn't roll over us, crushing us beneath its weight. The below energy technique this schematic reveals is helpful with any fear you are experiencing. It is like energy karate.
